Dear Mr. Matson
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for
attending our City Council meeting Monday evening, and for
sharing your expertise on the subject of municipal gambling
ordinances. We plan on taking the information you provided
us, and adjust our present ordinance to encompass a wider
range of regulatory issues .
We have been experiencing, and anticipate further concerns
over the growth of gambling issues . The insights you
provided us will assist us to remedy this situation.

RE: Gambling Ordinance
Dear Mr. Matson:
As you have been made aware through earlier correspondences,
the City of Lino Lakes is reviewing their gambling policies
and ordinance. As you also know, Lino Lakes Mayor Ben
Benson has requested we contact you for the purpose of
obtaining your insight into this area. Therefore, I would
request your presence at a workshop the Council will be
holding to discuss changes in our gambling ordinance. This
meeting has been tentatively set for either August 2nd or
August 3rd.
I will be contacting you by phone with further details
within a the next week. If it will be impossible for you to
attend either of these dates, please contact my office as
soon as possible.
I look forward to meeting with you, and your cooperation in
this matter is greatly appreciated.
