Park Board Meeting
January 3, 1983
The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called to
order at 7 :00 P.M. , January 3, 1983, by Chairman Johnson . Members
present; Arntzen, LeBlon, R. Johnson, Scherer, Lindy , Flannery .
Absent: None .
MINUTES
Mr. Scherer moved to approve the minutes of December 6, 1982 as
presented. Seconded by R . Johnson . Motion carried unanimously .
OLD BUSINESS
There was discussion of the installation of bathrooms in conjunction
with the Senior Citizen Center with the general consensus of the
Park Board that there is not justification for the expending of
$18,000 . 00 at this time for that facility .
Mr. R. Johnson moved to delete the bathroom facilities from the
City Hall addition . Seconded by Mrs . LeBlond. Motion carried
with Mr. Scherer voting, No, and Mr. K. Johnson abstaining.
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
This item is to be on the February agenda .
RESOLUTION
Mr. Arntzen moved to approve the Resolution of Thanks to the Lino
Lakes Lions Club for their contributions to the upkeep of Lino
Park. Seconded by ,Mr. Flannery . Motion carried unanimously .
DEDICATED FUNDS
Mr. Volk preented a quarterly update on the amount in the Dedicated
Funds .
There was discussion on the enforcement of the ban on motorized
vehicles in the Parks . The Park Board requested that a Police
Representative be present at the February meeting and discuss the
enforcability of this Ordinance.
Mr. Flannery-:will present the survey hJ7* has prepared at the
February meeting.
Mrs . LeBlond moved to adjourn at 7: 52 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Arntzen .
