The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Parks, Recreat:ronal and Enviornmental
Commission was to be at 8:00 p.M. May 18, 1976. A quorum was not present.
Members present: Ringaman, Gredvig, Resch. Members absent: Olson, Liljedahl ,
Scherer, Hanson. Mr. McLean, Councilman, was also present.
Mr. McLean asked Mrs. Anderson to send a copy of Ordinance �57A to each Comm-
ission member.
Mr. Ringaman asked if there were large hoses at Sunrise Park that could be
used for flooding ice rinks and watering ball fields. Discussion followed,
nobody is sure.
Mr. McLean said that an area at Lino Park on the north side near Luther's
Sport Shop could be further cleaned and landscaped.
Mr. Ringaman questioned the amount of time spent mowing the parks and how
often they were mowed. He also said there were not enough trash cans at
Sunrise Park and those that were there needed emptying.
Mr. McLean said the Commission should make some schedule of routine maint-
enance for the Parks.
Mr. Ringaman requested that Mr. Volk attend the next Park Commission meeting.
The members present retired at 10:00 P.M.
