The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park, Recreational and Enviorn-
mental Committee was scheduled for December 16, 1974.
Members present: Resch, Brisson, Clausen. Members absent: LeTourneau,
Kent, McGeary. Mr. McLean was also present.
Due to a lack of a quorum the meeting was not called to order and the minutes
of the previous meeting was not approved.
There was general discussion on some of the questions to be considered by the
Committee.
Mr. Resch reported that he had made a series of calls concerning super-
visors lfor the trailer that was to be installed at the Hall rink. He had
not received support and would not be compiling a list. in this case, no
trailer will be ordered.
Mr. McLean also reported that Lino Park had been seeded and the gate
locked to protect this work. More will be done in the Spring.
m r. Mclean plans to have a meeting with Mr. Volk during the Holiday break
to line up the plans fo rnext summer and establish some sort of a working
schedule.
The letter from Mr. Burman concerning the appointment of the Advisory
Committee for planning the Park now being acRuired was discussed. Mr. McLean
advised the Board that this appointment is to be made by the C-ouncii .
t4r.Mclean went over the discussion with Mr. Parta and Mr. Torkildsen at
-the Council meeting of December 9; 1974 He explained the points that
were cleared with these men from the Anoka County Park Department.
Mrs.:,Brisson had done some work on the bike trail system but since it is
not completed and Mr.s LeTourneau was not present, the discussion of this
subject was continued until the meeting In January.
Mrs. Brission said she would remain on the Board for one more year and
"lerk was instructed to contact Mr. Kent as to his plans for the
