***EXPANDED AGENDA***
1. Call to Order and Roll Call
(The meeting was called to order at 6:30p.m. Members present: George Lindy,
Pam Taschuk, Katie Boyle, Pat Huelman,Aaron Frederickson. Members absent:
Paul Montain and Bill Kusterman. Also present was Rick DeGardner, Public
Services Director.)
2. Approval of Minutes from May 3, 2004
(Pam Taschuk made a motion to approve the May 3, 2004 minutes. Seconded by
Katie Boyle and approved.)

(There were no additions or deletions.)
4. Open Mike
(There was no one present for open mike.)
5. Old Business
A. Memorial Plaque Information
(It was decided to allow park benches with engraved plate at this time.)
6. New Business
A. Email Related to Baseball Field at Birchwood Acres Park
(The Park Board decided to have staff remove park benches and install ag-
lime infield.)
7. Recreation Department Update
(Members reviewed the information in the packets. Rick advised board that Barry
Bernstein was resigning and going to work as Park and Recreation Director in
Hastings.)
8. Parks Department Update
(Rick reviewed the memo in the packets and responded to questions.)
9. Next Park Board Meeting
(The next Park Board Meeting will be Tuesday, July 6, 2004 6:30p.m.)
10. Adjourn
n (Pam Taschuk made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Aaron Frederickson. The
meeting was adjourned at 6:57p.m.)
The Parks, Greenway and Trail System Plan Open House was held in the Community
Room immediately following the Park Board Meeting
