1. Call to Order and Roll Call 6:30pm
(All members were present.)
2. Approval of Minutes from December 7, 1998 6:35pm
(Sharon Lane made a motion to approve the December 7, 1998
minutes. Motion seconded by Pam Taschuk and minutes were
approved as written.)
3. Setting Agenda 6:40pm
(No changes to the agenda.)
4. Open Mike 6:45pm
(There was no one present for open mike.)
5. Discussion of Trail Issues Related to Environmental Study 6:50pm
(Jeff Schoenbauer, Brauer and Associates was present to discuss
trail issues related to the Environmental Study which was
recently completed.)
6. Request for Landscaping Adjacent to New Trail in Clearwater Creek 7:35pm
(Jeff Reinert made a motion that a Rick DeGardner determine what
reasonably should be done, with funding from the Park Dedication
Fund, to use for trees and shrubs to buffer the homes (Lot 44) from
the trail. Motion was seconded by Pam Taschuk and passed
unanimously.)
7. Review 1999 Park Board Goals 7:50pm
(A motion was made by Paul Montain to accept the 1999 Goals
as discussed. Seconded by Pam Taschuk and approved. See
Park Board minutes for details.)
�. A. Park Dedication History 1993-1998
(Rick said a memo had been included in the packets for members
to review.)
B. Arena Acres Residents Survey
(The Survey showed residents, in the area, want playground equipment
in the park.)
C. Wenzel Farms Pedestrian Bridge
(It was requested that this issue be brought back to the Board after
further research.)
8. Recreation Department Update 8:20pm
(Rick as members to review Recreation Update and call if they
had any questions.)
9. Parks Department Update 8:30pm
(Rick reviewed Mikes update.)
10. Old Business 8:40pm
A. Master Planning Meeting for Behm's Century Farm Park and
Marshan Park
(Rick reminded members of the two meetings on January
5, 1999, 7 & 8 pm, at City Hall. Jeff is liaison for Behm's
Century Farm Park and Pam is liaison for Marshan Park.)

(There was no new business.)
12. Next Park Board Meeting February 1, 1999 8:55pm
13. Adjourn 9:OOpm
(Pam Taschuk made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Sharon Lane.
