Call to Order and Roll Call (Everyone was present.) 2. Approval of Minutes from 7/6/98 (Approved) 3. Setting Agenda (No changes.) 4. Open Mike (No one present to speak.) 5. Update on"The Village" —Brian Wessel (Brian gave the Park Board background information of the complex and status of the project today and what is proposed for the future.) 6. Review Clearwater Creek 3`d Addition- Preliminary Plat (Board wants 3 acres of land for a park whether it is a combination of land and trail or all park land. Rick suggested the developable park land be located on the southern boundary to allow contiguous park development, to the south, when future land dedication occurs. They asked Mike Quigley, Gor-em, LLC to come back to the board with his ideas.) 7. Baldwin Lake Court Park Dedication (After discussion it was decided that Mr. Howard agreed to put in the trail and parking lot. Canoe launch would possibly be done by the city.) 8. Review New Snow Removal Policy for Trails (After Rick answered their questions, the Park Board thought this was a good idea.) 9. Recreation Department Update (Rick hit some of the points in Barry's and Liz's update) 10. Parks Department Update (Rick went over Park Update. Members asked if signage could be put up indicating where the trail goes from Birch Street into Country Lakes Park. Rick will investigate this.) A. Removal of Shenandoah Park Backstop (Park Board gave Rick ok to remove backstop and benches. Rick will talk to Little League about this because they had donated the equipment.) B. Relocation of Birch Park Playground Area (Rick explained the situation with the playground equipment. Park Board was ok with relocating the new playground equipment.) 11. Old Business (No old business.) 12. New Business (There was no new business.) 13. Next Park Board Meeting August 31, 1998 14.
