INTRODUCTION
Jamie Blood of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has submitted a Special Event Permit
for a Bike MS 150 to raise funds for the Society.
BACKGROUND
Ms. Blood has submitted an application for a one-day bike ride event with a 23 mile and a 75
mile bike route with the start and finish of the event at the National Sports Center in Blaine.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society has submitted a certificate of liability insurance to
cover the above event and on file in the office of the deputy clerk. The proper fees have been
paid for this permit.
The Public Safety Department has reviewed the application and has been working with the

agreed to pay for overtime costs associated with Public Safety traffic control.
At this time, staff is still working through logistics and will provide an update at the council
