Subject: Charter Commission Fleeting
The next Charter Camnission meeting is scheduled for Thursday October 20th,
1988 at 7:00 P.P . in the Lino Lakes City Hall.
We will consider the tabled draft proposal of Section 8, written by Mr. David
Kennedy on March 17, 1988. As an alternate to the Kennedy proposal a draft
of Section 8, which incorporates comments made by Mr. Kennedy in a letter dated
February 29th. , 1988.
The following information is enclosed:
1. Minutes of September 15th meeting
2. Draft of Section 8 dated 9/20/88
3. Samples of other City Charters dealing with Public Improvements and
Special Assessments
Bernice has obtained copies of the 1986 Local Improvement Guides from the
League of Minnesota Cities. They will be made available to each Commission
member.
Please contact me or City Hall if you have a conflict and will be unable to
attend the meeting.
