REGARDING Road Reconstruction and Five (5)Year Plan
The Lino Lakes Charter Commission requests a meeting with the City Council to
further discuss the plans and schedule regarding road reconstruction. This meeting
could take place at the convenience of the City Council, perhaps during the first half
of February, 1997.
A separate issue to be discussed is the Five (5) Year Plan (Section 7.05, City
Charter). About six (6) months ago I talked to the City Council at a work session
about the Five(5)Year Plan not being in place. City Staff have said that the Plan
could be developed along with the City budget sometime between June, 1996 and
December 31, 1996. My discussion with Staff during the summer and fall was that
the Plan was being worked on. It is now January and the Five (5) Year Plan still has
not been completed. The Charter Commission would like to see a resolution on this
matter.
