The Park Board initially reviewed the Dedicated Parks Fund and Parks and Trails Fund during the
July Park Board meeting . The Park Board wanted to continue discussions at the August meeting
with the intent to finalize recommendations to the City Council for consideration for the 2023
budget process .
Attached is the Dedicated Parks Fund and Parks and Trails Fund summaries that were distributed
at the July Park Board meeting . Staff was also requested to provide a listing of playground
structures throughout the parks system .

RE : Blue Heron Days Volunteers Needed
Staff continues preparing for the Blue Heron Days Celebration scheduled August 1 & 21 , 2022 . We
are seeking volunteers to assist running a variety of kid ' s activities on Saturday , August 21
between 12 : 00pm — 4 : 00pm . We are requesting all Park Board members consider signing up for a
one - hour shift ! ! Is
