RESOLUTION NO. 23-83
ACCEPTING A MONETARY DONATION FROM KWIK TRIP
TO LINO LAKES PUBLIC SAFETY
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council is generally authorized to accept donations of
real and personal property, including monetary donations, pursuant to Minn. Stat. §465.03 for the
benefit of the citizens of the City of Lino Lakes; and,
WHEREAS, Kwik Trip has offered to donate $1000 to the City of Lino Lakes for the
benefit of the Public Safety Department; and,
WHEREAS, this donation has been contributed to the City of Lino Lakes for the benefit
of its citizens, as allowed by law, and,
WHEREAS,the City Council finds it is appropriate to accept this donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes,
Minnesota that:
1) The donation from Kwik Trip in the amount of$1000 is graciously accepted; and,
2) The donation shall be appropriated to the Public Safety Department in accordance with
the wishes of the donor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council expresses its gratitude to Kwik
Trip for the donation.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of August, 2023.
