RESOLUTION NO. 23-80
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR OTTER LAKE ROAD EXTENSION PHASE 2
WHEREAS,the extension of Otter Lake Road, from Main Street to 24th Avenue is identified in
the City's 2040 Comprehensive Plan to provide a continuous arterial transportation route to
CR140/CR 4A and serve commercial and industrial development along the 35E corridor, and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the City to proceed with
the preparation of plans and specifications for the Otter Lake Road Extension PH 2 improvements
of street, sanitary sewer and water main,regional stormwater conveyance and ponding, and
pedestrian/bicycle improvements, and
WHEREAS, WSB,the City Engineer,has submitted a proposal to prepare plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes:
1. That the Preparation of the Plans and Specifications for the Otter Lake Road
Extension Phase 2 improvements are hereby authorized; and
2. WSB is designated as the engineer for this improvement and directed to prepare plans
and specifications for the project for an amount not to exceed$468,258.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of August, 2023.
