WHEREAS, the event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4-8
p.m. at Centennial Middle School; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Department has reviewed plans for the event; and,
WHEREAS, proof of general liability insurance has been submitted to cover the event;
and,
WHEREAS, Community Education staff will be present to control parking and event
logistics; and,
WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the Special Event Permit application and plan for the
event for compliance with city ordinance and regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the
City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit for Community Education to host a
Food & Fun Festival on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at Centennial Middle School.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12 th day of August, 2024.
