RESOLUTION NO. 24-129
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT AND TEMPORARY
LIQUOR LICENSE: AMERICAN LEGION POST 566, OCTOBERFEST
WHEREAS, the American Legion Post 566 has applied for a special event permit and
temporary liquor license; and,
WHEREAS, the event is scheduled to take place on September 28, 2024; and,
WHEREAS, the event is to be hosted at the Lino Lakes American Legion Post 566; and
WHEREAS, the Public Safety Department will review the plans for the event; and,
WHEREAS, American Legion Post 566 volunteers will be present to control parking and
event logistics; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the
City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit and Temporary Liquor License for the
American Legion Post 566 to host an Octoberfest event on September 28, 2024, contingent upon
the approval of the Public Safety Department and confirmation of all required documentation.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of September, 2024.
