TOPIC: Discuss Interim City Administrator Position

BACKGROUND
On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, City Administrator Sarah Cotton, provided the Lino Lakes
City Council with notification of her resignation from the position of City Administrator effective
Friday, November 15, 2024.
Mayor Rafferty, with a second by Councilmember Lyden, has called a Special City Council Work
Session for Tuesday, October 22nd at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the Interim City Administrator
position.
REQUESTED COUNCIL DIRECTION
Discuss the Interim City Administrator position and appointment process and provide staff
direction.
