RESOLUTION NO. 24-147
APPROVING SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 16-24
WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 16-24, Repeal and Replace of
Chapter 218 (Fee Schedule) for first reading on October 28, 2024 and second reading and final
passage on November 12, 2024; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 16-24 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 allows the City to publish
a summary of an ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the summary clearly informs the public
of the intent and effort of the ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed
copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the
summary of Ordinance 16-24 in Attachment A is approved for publication according to state law
and the City Charter.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of November, 2024.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 16-24
REPEAL AND REPLACE OF CHAPTER 218 (FEE SCHEDULE)
The City of Lino Lakes ordains the following:
Section 1. Findings. Pursuant to Minnesota Law, the Lino Lakes City Charter, and the
Lino Lakes City Code, a fee schedule for city services and licensing is hereby adopted as
follows:

• Amusement & Commercial Recreation
• Business & Miscellaneous
• Fire Regulations
• Police Fees
• Rentals & Reservations
• Building —Construction Utilities
• Escrow Deposits
• Right -Of -Way Management
• Utility Fees
• Culvert Prices
• Land Use
• Development Fees
• Economic Development Assistance
• Staff Time
• Late Fee
Section 2. Effective Date of Ordinance. This ordinance shall be in force and effect on
January 1, 2025 and from and after its passage and publication according to the Lino
Lakes City Charter.
Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on November 12, 2024.
