Lino Lakes City Council <br />Special Work Session II <br />Minutes <br />DATE: January 27, 2025 <br />TIME STARTED: 6:45 P.M. <br />TIME ENDED: 7:33 P.M. <br />LOCATION: Community Room <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Rafferty Councilmembers Cavegn, Lyden, Stoesz and <br />Ruhland <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: None <br />Staff Members Present: Interim City Administrator Dave Pecchia, City Clerk Roberta Colotti, <br />Community Development Director Michael Grochala, HR and Communications Manager Meg <br />Sawyer, and Interim Public Safety Director Curt Boehme. <br />1. Call to Order and Roll Call <br />Mayor Rafferty called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. <br />2. Setting the Agenda: Addition or Deletion of Agenda Items <br />The agenda was adopted as presented. <br />3. City Administrator Executive Search <br />Pat Melvin, DDA Human Resources, Inc., presented the draft position profile, job <br />posting, recruitment strategy and salary range for the City Administrator position. <br />The HR and Communications Manager presented a market rate salary survey. <br />The Council provided feedback on the draft position profile. The City Council was in <br />favor of amending the salary range for the position in relation to the market survey. <br />It was noted that the next step is the formal approval of the recruitment materials and <br />salary range at the Special Council Meeting, scheduled for this evening. <br />4.
