RESOLUTION NO.25-33
RESOLUTION APPROVING SUMMARY OF
ORDINANCE NO.02-25 FOR PUBLICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second readings of Ordinance No.
02-25 amending City Code Chapter 1007; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-25 is lengthy, and Minn. Statute 412.191 provides for a city
to publish a summary of an ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of the
intent and effect of the ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed
copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the
summary of Ordinance No. 02-25, attached hereto as Exhibit A, for publication according to State
Law and City Charter is approved.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 10th day of March, 2025.

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO.02-25 AMENDING CHAPTER 1007 (ZONING
ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY CODE CONCERNING THE REGULATION OF CANNABIS
BUSINESSES
The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains:
Section 1. Chapter 1007 (Zoning Ordinance) of the Lino Lakes City Code is hereby amended to
include provisions relating to the regulation of cannabis and hemp business regulations. The ordinance
amends the following sections:
1007.001: Rules and Definitions provides definitions of Cannabis Related Businesses
1007.100 (5) establishes permitted uses within the R, Rural District
1007.130 (6) establishes permitted uses within the NB, Neighborhood Business District
1007.131 (6) establishes permitted uses within the LB, Limited Business District
1007.132 (6) establishes permitted uses within the GB, General Business District
1007.140 (7) establishes permitted uses within the LI, Light Industrial District
1007.141(7) establishes permitted uses within the GI, General Industrial District
1007.142 (7) establishes permitted uses within the BC, Business Campus District
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after upon its passage and
publication according to the Lino Lakes City Charter.
