Findings and Purpose. The city makes the following legislative findings: <br />(a) The purpose of this chapter is to implement the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />chapter 342, which authorizes the city to protect the public health, safety, welfare <br />of residents by regulating cannabis businesses within the city. <br />(b) The city finds that the proposed provisions are appropriate and lawful land use <br />regulations for the city, that the proposed regulations will promote the interests <br />of the communitv for now and in the future, and that the DroDosed provisions are <br />in the public interest and for the public good. <br />(2).
