HomeMy WebLinkAbout25-056 - Resolution - Summary Ord No 05-25 Vacating Easements Otter CrossingCITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 25-56 APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 05-25 FOR PUBLICATION WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 05-25, vacating certain street, drainage, and utility easements on 70th Street and Otter Crossing South; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the first reading on April 14, 2025, and the second reading and final passage on April 28, 2025; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 05-25 is lengthy and MN statute 412.191 allows the city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the City Council approves the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. Rot Rafferty, Mayor ATTEST: /s{zW� Roberta Colotti, CIVIC, City Clerk ATTACHMENT A CITY OF LINO LAKES SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 05-25 AN ORDINANCE VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT Section 1: Findings The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate certain street, drainage, and utility easements on 70th Street and Otter Crossing South; and A public hearing was held on April 14, 2025 before the City Council in the City Hall Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and a reasonable attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; and Section 3: Effect This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to the Lino Lakes City Charter and upon recording of the Drainage and Utility Easement Vacation. Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on April 28, 2025. This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. A full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
