AGENDA ITEM: Strategic Planning Session
INTRODUCTION
The City Council has contracted with Phil Kern to lead the Strategic Planning process for 2025.
BACKGROUND
The Strategic Plan proposal outlined scheduling two workshops focused on three elements of
strategic planning and organizational leadership. The outline for the process includes long-term
direction, organizational performance, and development of a short-term goals program to
support immediate needs and the vision/strategic plan of the City. The Council has scheduled
the first strategic planning session for July 9th and the second session for August 6th. The
meetings will be facilitated by Phil Kern.
