RESOLUTION NO. 25-62
THE RECONSTRUCTION OF COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY (CSAH) 21
(CENTERVILLE ROAD), CSAH 54 (20T" AVE S) AND COUNTY ROAD 84 (OTTER LAKE
ROAD) AS PART OF THE COUNTY J AND 1-35E INTERCHANGE PROJECT IN
THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MN
WHEREAS, Anoka County and the City of Lino Lakes agree it is in the best interest of the
traveling public to reconstruct CSAH 21 (Centerville Road), CSAH 54 (20th Ave S) and CR 84
(Otter Lake Road) as part of the County Road J and 1-35E interchange project led by Ramsey
County and,
WHEREAS, Ramsey County as the lead agency of the County Road J and 1-351nterchange
project has prepared preliminary design plans for the reconstruction of CSAH 21 (Centerville
Road), CSAH 54 (201h Avenue S.) and CR84 (Otter Lake Road) in accordance with Anoka County
and the Minnesota Department of Transportation standards to a staff approved layout condition;
and,
WHEREAS, Anoka County has jurisdiction over CSAH 21 (Centerville Road), CSAH 54 (20th
Avenue S.) and CR86 (Otter Lake Road) and,
WHEREAS, the parties agree that it is in their best interest that the cost of said project
be shared; and,
WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. § 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the state to enter
into joint powers agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that
hereby approves the Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County and authorizes the Mayor and
City Clerk to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12th day of May, 2025.
