HomeMy WebLinkAbout25-177 - Resolution - Summary Publication Ord No 20-25CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 25-177 APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 20-25 FOR PUBLICATION WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 20-25 vacating drainage & utility easements on Lake Amelia Woods final plat; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the first reading on November 24, 2025, and the second reading and final passage on December 8, 2025; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 20-25 is lengthy and MN statute 412.191 allows the city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter is approved. Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 81h day of December, 2025. Ro R fferty, Mayor ATTEST: Roberta Colotti, City Clerk ATTACHMENT A CITY OF LINO LAKES SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 20-25 AN ORDINANCE VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT Section 1: Findings The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate the drainage and utility easement dedicated over, under, and across Lake Amelia Woods final plat; and A public hearing was held on November 24, 2025 before the City Council in the City Hall Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and a reasonable attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard. Section 2: Effect This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to the Lino Lakes City Charter and upon filing of the ordinance. Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on December 8, 2025. This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. A full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
