CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-02 <br />AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT: <br />CENTERVILLE LIONS CLUB, ANNUAL ICE FISHING CONTEST (2/21/26) <br />WHEREAS, The Centerville Lions Club has applied for a Special Event Permit, a <br />Temporary On -Sale Liquor License, and an Exempt Gambling Permit for the club's annual <br />fishing contest on Centerville Lake; and, <br />WHEREAS, the event plan includes ice fishing, the sale of food and beverages, and <br />a raffle on February 21, 2026; and, <br />WHEREAS, the required applications for a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License and <br />Exempt Gambling Permit have been submitted by the Centerville Lions Club for the ice <br />fishing contest; and <br />WHEREAS, the permit applications and plan for the event will be required to be in <br />compliance with city code and regulations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota, that the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit and <br />approval of a Temporary Liquor License and Exempt Gambling Permit for the Centerville <br />Lions Club Annual Ice Fishing Contest on Centerville Lake, as presented. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council on the 12th day of January 2026. <br />SN= L <br />Ro afferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Roberta Colotti, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
