RESOLUTION NO. 26-02
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT:
CENTERVILLE LIONS CLUB, ANNUAL ICE FISHING CONTEST (2/21/26)
WHEREAS, The Centerville Lions Club has applied for a Special Event Permit, a
Temporary On -Sale Liquor License, and an Exempt Gambling Permit for the club's annual
fishing contest on Centerville Lake; and,
WHEREAS, the event plan includes ice fishing, the sale of food and beverages, and
a raffle on February 21, 2026; and,
WHEREAS, the required applications for a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License and
Exempt Gambling Permit have been submitted by the Centerville Lions Club for the ice
fishing contest; and
WHEREAS, the permit applications and plan for the event will be required to be in
compliance with city code and regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes,
Minnesota, that the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit and
approval of a Temporary Liquor License and Exempt Gambling Permit for the Centerville
Lions Club Annual Ice Fishing Contest on Centerville Lake, as presented.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council on the 12th day of January 2026.
