RESOLUTION NO. 26-35
APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WSB FOR
PREPARATION OF TRUNK UTILITY PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS SUNSET AVENUE
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, Anoka County is planning to reconstruct Sunset Avenue (CR 53) from Apollo
Drive (CSAH 12) to Main Street (CSAH 14) in 2027, and
WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes 2040 Comprehensive Plan identifies the need for a
sanitary sewer west side relief interceptor. The plan also identifies a trunk water system loop;
and
WHEREAS, WSB, City Engineer, has provided a proposal to prepare the Trunk Utility Plans
and Specifications that would be included with the Anoka County Sunset Avenue Reconstruction
Project, in the amount of $116,100.
WHEREAS, funding for the project will come from the City's Area and Unit Trunk fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the
Professional Services Agreement with WSB for the preparation of Trunk Utility Plans and
Specifications that will included with the Anoka County Sunset Avenue Reconstruction Project is
hereby approved and staff is authorized to execute the proposal on behalf of the City.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of March, 2026.
