CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-49 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FORTHE 2026 PRIMARYAND GENERAL ELECTIONS <br />WHEREAS, the State Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026; and, <br />WHEREAS, the General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026; and, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota State Statutes, Election Judges shall be appointed to <br />serve in an election precinct and that appointing authority shall also designate judges to serve as <br />Head Election Judges; and, <br />WHEREAS, students ages 16 and 17 are eligible to serve as Student Election Judges; and, <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statutes require that appointments be made at least 25 days <br />before the election at which the judges will serve and that additional appointments may be made <br />after the 25-day mark should the need arise; and, <br />WHEREAS, the attached list of candidates are certified eligible voters and students who <br />wish to serve as Head Judges, Regular Election Judges and Student Election Judges, if called to do <br />so for the 2026 Municipal Election. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bythe City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the <br />attached list of certified eligible voters and Student Election Judges are hereby appointed to serve <br />in the 2026 Municipal Election if called to do so. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that should additional election judges, outside of those hereby <br />appointed, be needed within 25 days of the election, the City Clerk is authorized to appoint <br />additional certified and qualified Head Judges, Regular Election Judges and Student Election <br />Judges. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes on this 261h day of May 2026. <br />Ro R ferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Roberta Colotti, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
