RESOLUTION NO. 26-88
APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WSB FOR
PREPARATION OF WEST SIDE RELIEF SEWER FEASIBILITY STUDY
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes 2040 Comprehensive Plan identifies the need for a
sanitary sewer west side relief interceptor; and
WHEREAS, Anoka County is planning to reconstruct Sunset Avenue (CR 53) from Apollo
Drive (CSAH 12) to Main Street (CSAH 14) in 2027, and
WHEREAS, the City is preparing for 2028 Street Reconstruction projects, in areas where
the relief interceptor may be located; and
WHEREAS, development in the northwestern portion of the City will increase sewer flows
necessitating the improvement; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to determine the preferred routing and
design alternatives to incorporate into future capital improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, WSB, City Engineer, has provided a proposal to prepare the West Side Relief
Sewer feasibility study, in the amount of $76,714; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the
Professional Services Agreement with WSB for the West Side Relief Sewer feasibility study is
hereby approved and staff is authorized to execute the proposal on behalf of the City.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27d day of May, 2026.
