Public Hearing: May 11, 2026 <br />Website Notice: May 15 2026 <br />1" Reading: May 11, 2026 <br />Publication: June 2, 2026 <br />2"d Reading: May 26, 2026 <br />Effective: July 2, 2026 <br />Adoption: May 26, 2026 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 04-26 <br />VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT <br />LOT 2, BLOCK 2, OUT LOT C, LYNGBLOMSTEN AT LINO LAKES ADDITION, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />Section 1: Findings of Fact <br />1. The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate a drainage and utility easement <br />("Easement"). <br />2. The area of the vacated Easement is legally described as follows and shown in <br />Attachment A -Vacation Exhibit. <br />All drainage and utility easements lying within Lot 2, Block 2, and Outlot C, <br />LYNGBLOMSTEN AT LINO LAKES ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota, as created by and dedicated on said plat. <br />3. A public hearing was held on May 11, 2026 before the City Council in the City Hall <br />Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and reasonable <br />attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and all <br />persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br />4. It appears to be in the best interest of the City to vacate such Easement; and <br />5. This ordinance shall be recorded with Anoka County; and <br />6. Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur with this ordinance, <br />Section 2: Easement Vacated <br />The Easement described herein is hereby vacated. <br />Section 3: Effect <br />This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication according <br />to the Lino Lakes City Charter and upon filing of the ordinance. <br />Section 4: The vacation provided for by this ordinance is contingent on the dedication of new <br />
