LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />DATE: May 26, 2026 <br />TIME STARTED: 6:30 PM <br />TIME ENDED: 6:56 PM <br />LOCATION: City Council Chambers <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Rafferty Councilmembers Lyden, Nelson, Ruhland and Rennaker <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: None <br />Staff Members Present: City Administrator Karen Anderson, City Clerk Roberta Colotti, <br />Community Development Director Mike Grochala, City Engineer Diane Hankee, Chief of Police <br />Curt Boehme, Sergeant Nate Hamann and Sergeant Robert Strub. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Rafferty at 6:30 PM. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Mayor Rafferty adminsitered the Oath of Office to Sergeants Nate Hamann and Robert Strub. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Mayor Rafferty opened the public comment period at 6:42 p.m. <br />Teresa O'Connell, 1000 Main Street, Lino Lakes, reported that she spoke with the Community <br />Development Director and City Engineer about the Public Works Building construction following <br />her public comments at prior Council meetings, however the answers received were not <br />responsive to her concerns. She stated that it is important to recognize this time of economic <br />hardship.
