LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />DATE: June 8, 2026 <br />TIME STARTED: 6:30 PM <br />TIME ENDED: 7:24 PM <br />LOCATION: City Council Chambers <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Rafferty Councilmembers Nelson, Ruhland and Rennaker <br />EXCUSED ABSENT: Councilmember Lyden <br />Staff Members Present: City Administrator Karen Anderson, City Clerk Roberta Colotti, Finance <br />Director Tracy Thoma, Community Development Director Mike Grochala, City Planner Katie <br />Larsen, City Engineer Diane Hankee, Chief of Police Curt Boehme and Fire Chief Dan L'Allier. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Rafferty at 6:30 p.m. <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented. <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />American Legion Post 566 Representatives presented the Outstanding Police Officer of the Year <br />Award to Police Officer Alex Hallin. They also announced that he had received the State Level <br />Award. <br />The Outstanding Firefighter of the Year Award was presented to former Firefighter Brett <br />McReavy <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Mayor Rafferty opened the public comment period at 6:35 p.m. <br />Scott Coggins, Anoka County Elections Integrity Team (ACEIT) Member, presented information <br />on the City of Oak Grove petition to the MN Supreme Court. <br />Teresa O'Connell, 1000 Main Street, Lino Lakes, stated that she was interested in volunteering to <br />be part of the 2050 Comprehensive Plan process. <br />IVIULIUII lV \.I U.)C LlM F-U9J1IL \.VI III IICI II P1=1 IUU CIL O.-tf- N.M. <br />RESULT: <br />CARRIED [4-0] <br />MOVER: <br />Nelson <br />SECONDER: <br />Rennaker <br />AYES: <br />Rafferty, Nelson, Ruhland and Rennaker <br />NAYS: <br />None <br />Page 1 of 7 <br />
