CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-143 <br />ACCEPT BID AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br />2026 BIRCH STREET SEWER CROSSING PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2026 Birch <br />Street Sewer Crossing Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and <br />and <br />CONTRACTOR <br />GRAND TOTAL BID <br />Minger Construction Co. Inc. <br />$613,000.00 <br />New Look Contracting, Inc. <br />$897,749.50 <br />Bituminous Roadways, Inc. <br />$1,025,337.51 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Minger Construction Co. Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />WHEREAS, the base bid amount is within the budgeted amount and the City Council <br />finds that it would be in the best interest of the city to proceed with the project, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Minger Construction Co. Inc. in the amount of $613,000.00 by the name of the City of <br />Lino Lakes for the construction of the 2026 Birch Street Sewer Crossing Project according <br />to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />2.
