and <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-146 <br />APPROVING PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR WETLAND CREDITS, OTTER LAKE <br />ROAD EXTENSION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City awarded the Otter Lake Road Extension project on June 22, 2026; <br />WHEREAS, the project will impact 3.4034 acres of wetland; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District, acting as the Local Government Unit for <br />administration of the Wetland Conservation Act has issued a permit for the wetland impacts <br />requiring replacement of 3.4034 acres, and <br />WHEREAS, the City is fulfilling the requirement by use of 2.6417 acres of City owned <br />wetland credits from Bank 1601 and purchase of the remaining credits from a local approved <br />bank; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has obtained quotes from two banks located with the RCWD as <br />shown below: <br />BANK <br />PRICE/SF <br />1722 <br />2.70 <br />1762 <br />2.90 <br />; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interests of the City to approve the <br />purchase agreement with the owner of Bank 1722, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that: <br />The Purchase Agreement with MPJWR, LLC is hereby approved in the amount of <br />$89,585.06 plus state withdrawal and stewardship fees and the Mayor and Clerk are <br />hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City, <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 271h day of July, 2026. <br />rr <br />b afferty, Mayor <br />
