HomeMy WebLinkAbout26-056 - Resolution - Ord No 03-26 Publication SummaryCITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 26-56 APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 03-26 FOR PUBLICATION WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 03-26, vacating a drainage & utility easement on 24 Century Trail, Lot 2, Block 1, Century Farm North; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the first reading on April 13, 2026, and the second reading and final passage on April 27, 2026; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 03-26 is lengthy and MN statute 412.191 allows the city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the City Council approves the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. R b afferty, Mayor ATTEST: Roberta Colotti, City Clerk ATTACHMENT A CITY OF LINO LAKES SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 03-26 AN ORDINANCE VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT Section 1: Findings The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easement dedicated over, under, and across 24 Century Trail, Lot 2, Block 1, Century Farm North; and A public hearing was held on April 13, 2026 before the City Council in the City Hall Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and a reasonable attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; and Section 3: Effect This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to the Lino Lakes City Charter and upon recording of the Drainage and Utility Easement Vacation. Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on April 27, 2026. This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. A full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
