CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-62 <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE POST LIFTS AND ASSOCIATED <br />ATTACHMENTS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is in the process of constructing a new Public Works Facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the project budget includes an equipment allowance for the procurement of essential <br />shop equipment, including mobile post lifts; and <br />WHEREAS, four (4) mobile post lifts will be purchased in advance of construction to support <br />ongoing fleet maintenance operations, with the remaining two (2) lifts to be purchased upon <br />completion of the facility; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has also identified the need for compatible attachments to enhance the <br />versatility and functionality of the mobile post lifts; and <br />WHEREAS, funding for the purchase of the mobile post lifts and associated attachments is <br />included in the Public Works Facility construction budget and is financed, in part, through <br />Lease/Revenue bonds, area and unit funds, and building facility funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed purchase is consistent with the approved project budget and does not <br />require additional appropriation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, as <br />follows: <br />1. The City Council hereby approves the purchase of six (6) mobile post lifts and associated <br />attachments for the Public Works Facility. <br />2. The purchase shall be funded through the Public Works Facility construction budget <br />equipment allowance for lifts. <br />3.
