RESOLUTION NO. 26-62
APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE POST LIFTS AND ASSOCIATED
ATTACHMENTS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is in the process of constructing a new Public Works Facility; and
WHEREAS, the project budget includes an equipment allowance for the procurement of essential
shop equipment, including mobile post lifts; and
WHEREAS, four (4) mobile post lifts will be purchased in advance of construction to support
ongoing fleet maintenance operations, with the remaining two (2) lifts to be purchased upon
completion of the facility; and
WHEREAS, staff has also identified the need for compatible attachments to enhance the
versatility and functionality of the mobile post lifts; and
WHEREAS, funding for the purchase of the mobile post lifts and associated attachments is
included in the Public Works Facility construction budget and is financed, in part, through
Lease/Revenue bonds, area and unit funds, and building facility funds; and
WHEREAS, the proposed purchase is consistent with the approved project budget and does not
require additional appropriation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves the purchase of six (6) mobile post lifts and associated
attachments for the Public Works Facility.
2. The purchase shall be funded through the Public Works Facility construction budget
equipment allowance for lifts.
3. City staff is authorized to proceed with procurement in accordance with City policies and
applicable purchasing requirements.
