RESOLUTION NO. 26-151
RESOLUTION ACCEPT BIDS, AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, 2026
TRUNK WATERMAIN PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2026 Trunk
Watermain Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and

Meyer Contracting, Inc.
$569,115.94
Pember Companies, Inc.
$670,839.25
Geislinger & Sons
$783,620.01
WHEREAS, it appears that Meyer Contracting, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the city to
proceed with the project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
Meyer Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $569,115.94 by the name of the City of Lino
Lakes for the construction of the 2026 Trunk Watermain Project according to the plans and
specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid
Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of August, 2026.
