RESOLUTION NO. 26-176
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION TO THE CITY OF LINO LAKES FOR THE BEAUTIFICATION AND
KINDNESS GARDEN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is generally authorized to accept gifts and donations for the use
and benefit of the city and its inhabitants upon terms and conditions approve by the governing body of
the city under Minnesota Statutes Sections 465.04 Acceptance of Gifts and M.S. 465.03 Gifts to
Municipalities; and,
WHEREAS, the following persons and/or entity have offered to contribute the cash amounts, real
or personal property set forth below to the city:
• Name of Donor: Anonymous
• Amount/Item(s): $500
WHEREAS, the terms or conditions of the donations, if any are as follows:
• Donation:$500
Terms: To be used for the Beautification and Kindness Garden Project in the City of Lino
Lakes
WHEREAS, all such donations have been contributed to the city for the benefit of its citizens, as
required by law; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donations offered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA, AS

1. The donations described above are accepted and shall be used to establish and/or
operate services either alone or in cooperation with others, as allowed by law.
Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council on the 141h day of September 2026.
