RESOLUTION NO. 26-177
APPROVING VLAWMO 2026 LANDSCAPE LEVEL 2 GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has been promoting water conservation efforts, through
implementation of a smart irrigation controllers and water reuse systems to alleviate strain on
the potable water system; and
WHEREAS, the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization offers a Landscape Level 2
Grant for use in municipal water efficiency programs that reduce use of potable water and
promote water conservation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes was awarded $42,226 to be used for a water reuse irrigation
system for the Round About at Centerville Rd and County Rd J for the landscaping; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes:
That the VLAWMO Landscape Level 2 Grant Agreement for water reuse is approved.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of September 2026.
