RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED ZONING
ORDINANCE REFERENCED AS APPENDIX "B" OF THE CITY CODE.
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS,
The City of Lino Lakes has been granted authority
by the State of Minnesota per MS 462.351, to
adopt zoning and other official controls to
regulate the use, and develop the land in an
orderly manner within the City, and
The Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Commission
desires the City Council to implement these
official controls through the land use policies,
guidelines, and plan recommendations adopted as
part of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of
Lino Lakes, and
The Planning Commission has worked diligently
with the Zoning Ordinance Task Force in evaulating
and updating the City's existing zoning Ordinance
so as to, in their collective opinion, represent
the interest of the residents of the City of Lino
Lakes and the City's adopted Comprehensive Plan,
and
The proposed Zoning Ordinance -shall promote the
public health, safety, order, convenience,
property and general welfare within the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that:
1) The Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Commission
hereby recommends that the City Council conduct
a Public Hearing pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
462.357, Subd. 3.
2) The Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Commission
hereby recommends that the City Council review
and take final action on the proposed ordinance
by adopting and publishing same.
