Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
RESOLUTION NO. 09 -94
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF
ORDINANCE NO. 11 -09 FOR PUBLICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second reading of Ordinance
No. 11 -09, amending Ordinance No. 04 -04 which established the Planned Unit
Development for the Legacy at Woods Edge and the Lino Lakes Town Center Design
and Development Guideline for the project; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11 -09 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 provides for a city
to publish a summary of an ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of
the intent and effect of the ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full
printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council approves the summary
• in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter.

Member Roeser and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Reinert, Roeser, O'Donnell, Gallup, Bergeson

SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 11 -09
AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 04 -04 which established the Planned Unit
Development for the Legacy at Woods Edge and the Lino Lakes Town Center Design
and Development Guideline for the project
The purpose of amending the Planned Unit Development for the Legacy at Woods
Edge that was created by Ordinance No. 04 -04 is to clarify the use known as Assisted
Living Facilities and to clearly identify the district requirements for the placement of
such facilities within the project area, and to correct non - substantive errors in the Lino
Lakes Town Center Design and Development Guideline which regulates the
development of the project area.
Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on November 9, 2009.
This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. A full printed copy of the ordinance is
available at City Hall.
