CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
RESOLUTION NO. 09 -17
AUTHORIZING A ONE -TIME COST SHARING FOR ENHANCEMENT
OF A CITY PROCESS
WHEREAS, Mr. John DeHaven of 612 Birch Street in Lino Lakes has worked with the
city on ordinance and process changes that may benefit residents in the future; and
WHEREAS, the city feels it should share in the costs of this change;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lino Lakes refund Mr.
DeHaven $315 of his cost relating to this matter, from his existing escrow account.

Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23rd day of March, 2009.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof:
Stoltz, Gallup Reinert, O'Donnell, Bergeson
The following voted against same:
none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

cost sharing for enhancement of a city process
VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5
BACKGROUND
Mr. John DeHaven, 612 Birch Street, has requested refund of expenditures charged to
his escrow account for city review of a minor subdivision application. The charges
relate to city attorney and staff review costs.
In consideration that Mr. DeHaven's subdivision represents a new process and the
establishment of that process may benefit city residents in the future, the Council
wishes to authorize a refund of Mr. DeHaven's costs in the amount of $315.
OPTIONS
1. Adopt Resolution 09 -17, Authorizing a one -time cost sharing for the enhancement
of a city process
2. Deny adoption of Resolution No. 09 -17/
