HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009-040 Council ResolutionCouncil Member() ' Donnell introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 09-40 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE DRUG FORFEITURE FUND TO THE CRIME PREVENTION ACCOUNT WHEREAS, the purchase of the office equipment creates a deficit in the Crime Prevention Account, and WHEREAS, a portion of the Drug Forfeiture Fund is to be used to refund the Crime Prevention Account NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following transfer be adopted: Increase Decrease Crime Prevention (420 -4214) up to $3,000.00 • Drug Forfeiture Fund (801 -2023) • Up to $3,000 Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 22nd day of June 2009. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member Gallup and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: O'Donnell, Gallup, Reinert, Bergeson The following voted against same: none (Absent - Stoltz) Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. The office equipment purchased will be utilized to provide a work area for interns /volunteers as they work on projects and programs related to crime analysis /mapping and other public safety services. The request is for the cost of the office equipment up to $3,000. OPTIONS 1. Approve office equipment purchase. 2. Deny purchase of office equipment RECOMMENDATION Option No. 1 •
