HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-018 Council ResolutionCouncil Member Gallup introduced the following resolution and moved its • adoption: • CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 10 -18 RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 02 -10 FOR PUBLICATION WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the first and second reading of Ordinance No. 02 -10, amending the Zoning Ordinance sections regarding Residential Parking and Exterior Storage; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02 -10 is lengthy and MN Statute 412.191 provides for a city to publish a summary of an ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the summary clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance, and WHEREAS, the publication in the official newspaper will include a notice that a full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council approves the summary in Attachment A for publication according to state law and the City Charter. Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22nd day of February 2010. ATTACHMENT A, RESOLUTION 10 -18 CITY OF LINO LAKES COUNTY OF ANOKA SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 02 -10 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Ordinance sections regulating Residential Parking and Exterior Storage. The purpose of amending the Home Occupation section of the Zoning Ordinance is to clarify and organize all of the regulations related to the parking of motor vehicles on residential and rural properties within the city, and subsequent medication of the Exterior Storage requirements. 1 1)Acciaric cit4.W, Subsection 3.Subdivision 5.K (Motor Vehicle Parking in Residential and Rural Zoning Districts) of the Zoning Ordinance includes the following sections: 1. Passenger Motor Vehicles 2. Recreation Vehicles and Trailers 3. Motor Vehicles exceeding a gross weight of 11,075 pounds. Subsection 3.Subdivision 4.P (Exterior Storage) of the Zoning Ordinance includes the following sections: 1. Rural and Residential Zoning Districts 2. Commercial and Industrial Zoning Districts 3. All Zoning Districts Passed by the Lino Lakes City Council on February 22, 2010. This is a summary of the adopted ordinance. A full printed copy of the ordinance is available at City Hall. •
