CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
RESOLUTION NO. 08 -11
FINDING A VIOLATION OF LIQUOR CODE AND IMPOSING PENALTY
MILLER'S ON MAIN
WHEREAS, The Lino Lakes Code of Ordinances, Section 701.09, Subdivision 4, Vacation of
Premises, requires that anyone other than the licensee or employees must vacate the
premises of a licensed liquor establishment within thirty minutes after the time during which
sales can be made; and
WHEREAS, Miller's on Main has been issued a 2:00 a.m. permit allowing them sale of liquor
up to 2:00 a.m.; and
WHEREAS, on June 21, 2007, the Lino Lakes Police Department of Lino Lakes found
several patrons inside the Miller's on Main establishment after legal hours of operation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Lino Lakes conducted a violation hearing on February 11,
2008 and reached a finding that a violation did occur; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has agreed to impose penalties consistent with the Best
Practices Grid; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation under the Best Practices Grid is a $500 civil penalty;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO
LAKES, MINNESOTA:
The City of Lino Lakes hereby adopts Resolution No. 08 -11, Finding a Violation of the Liquor
Code and Imposing Penalty to Miller's on Main.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of February, 2008.
