HomeMy WebLinkAbout2008-026 Council Resolution• • Council Member Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 08 -26 RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 11 LAKE DRIVE /135W IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to the resolution of the City Council adopted May 14, 2007, the City awarded the construction contract for the Lake Drive /I -35W Improvement Project to Lunda Construction Company, and WHEREAS, the south approach panel for Bridge No. 02817 was constructed as surveyed and is in conflict with the new guardrail that is needed to be installed, and WHEREAS, the Project Engineer has determined that a portion of the approach panel needs to be removed to install the new guardrail. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. Rosemount, MN 55068 State Project No.: 0280 -55 Contract No. Z07502 Location: In Lino Lakes on CSAH 23 (Lake Dr.) From 1000 ft. south of Town Center Parkway to Apollo Dr. In accordance with the terms of this Contract, you are hereby authorized and instructed to perform the Work as altered by the following provisions. Due to a staking error the south approach panel for Bridge No. 02817 stage I was constructed as surveyed and now in conflict with the new guardrail that is needed to be installed. After review the Project Engineer has determined that the approach panel needs to have the portion in conflict with the new guardrail removed. This Change Order directs the Contractor to furnish all equipment, materials and labor necessary to remove the portion of the approach panel in conflict with the new guardrail. All work will be performed in accordance with the pertinent portions of the Special Provisions, Mn/DOT Standard Specifications, Mn/DOT Standard Plates and as directed by the Engineer.
