CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
RESOLUTION NO. 08 -36
RESOLUTION APPROVING PEDDLER LICENSE
WHEREAS, Minnesota Window and Siding, Inc., has submitted a peddler's license
application to the city clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Window and Siding, Inc. has complied with all of the provisions
of Ordinance No. 01 -89 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license
for a profit business; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on
all company representatives who would be soliciting;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes:
Minnesota Window and Siding, Inc. is hereby authorized to solicit construction services
door to door for a period of six - months beginning March 25, 2008 subject to all
conditions and provisions of said ordinance.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of March, 2008.

TOPIC: Resolution No. 08 -36, Approving Peddlers License for
MN Window & Siding, Inc.
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote)
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Jon A. Wacker, owner of Minnesota Window & Siding, Inc., 1710 Douglas
Drive, Golden Valley, MN, has submitted a peddler's license application to the
city clerk's office. Minnesota Window & Siding is in the business of providing
home improvements such as roofing, siding and gutters. They propose to go
door -to -door in the city selling their services.
The City has received from the company all the necessary forms required to
issue a license. The license would be a renewal and background checks have
been performed on all representatives who would be working in the city.
The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's
office for review.
OPTIONS:
1. Approve Resolution No. 08 -36
2. Deny Resolution No. 08 -36
