Council Member °'Donnel1ntroduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
RESOLUTION NO. 08 -63
RESOLUTION APPROVING PEDDLER LICENSE
WHEREAS, Michael Heidersheid Construction, Inc., has submitted a peddler's license
application to the city clerk's office; and
WHEREAS, Michael Heidersheid Construction, Inc. has complied with all of the
provisions of Ordinance No. 01 -89 of the Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the
necessary license for a for - profit business; and
WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Police Department has conducted a background check on
all company representatives who would be soliciting in the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved by the City Council of The City of Lino Lakes:
Michael Heidersheid Construction, Inc. is hereby authorized to solicit construction
services door to door for a period of six - months beginning June 9, 2008 subject to all
conditions and provisions of said ordinance.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of June, 2008.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council
Member Stoltz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
O'Donnell, Stoltz, Reinert, Gallup, Bergeson
The following voted against same:
none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

TOPIC: Approving Peddlers License for various companies
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote)
BACKGROUND:
Recent storms in the area have caused property damage to many homes in Lino Lakes.
Many companies in the business of property repair and improvement are anxious to
offer their services to city property owners with damages. Based on the city's
regulations requiring issuance of a transient merchant/peddler license, the city has
received numerous applications for licenses that will allow companies to solicit business
on a door -to -door basis.
The following companies have submitted an application to the city clerk's office
requesting a peddler license:
H & H Restoration Services, Inc., 6935 2 "d Av, Lino Lakes, MN;
Hometown Restoration, 7305 Aspen Lane N, Brooklyn Park, MN;
Patrick Home Exteriors, 127 Co Rd C, Little Canada, MN
The Gopher Company, Inc., 2701 36"' Av S, Mpls, MN
Michael Heiderscheid Construction, Inc., 1508 16th Av SE, Cambridge, MN
The City has received from each of these companies the necessary forms required to
issue a license. All approvals are contingent upon the applicant(s) finally meeting all
local requirements. According to city ordinance, background checks are required on all
representatives who would be working in the city.
The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for
review.
OPTIONS:
1. Approve Resolutions No. 08 -58, 08 -59, 08 -60, 08 -62 and 08 -63 authorizing
issuance of peddler licenses for H & H Restoration Services, Hometown
Restoration, Patrick Home Exteriors, The Gopher Company and.Michael
Heidersheid Construction, Inc.
2. Deny Resolutions No. 08 -58, 08 -59, 08 -60, 08 -62 and 08 -63
