HomeMy WebLinkAbout2008-111 Council Resolution• • Council Member Stoltz introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 08 -111 RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT NO. 10 (FINAL) LEGACY AT WOODS EDGE PHASE I — STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to the resolution of the Council adopted August 22, 2005, awarding the construction contract for the Legacy at Woods Edge Phase 1 - Street and Utility Improvements to Glenn Rehbein Companies, and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to install street and utilities for Woods Edge Boulevard as part of the Legacy at Woods Edge Phase I improvement project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA that: 1. Studenski, City Engineer September 22, 2008 Resolution No. 08 -111, Approving Payment No. 10 (Final) Legacy at Woods Edge Phase 1 — Street and Utility Improvements ACTION REQUIRED: Simple Majority BACKGROUND On August 22, 2005 the City Council awarded the Legacy at Woods Edge Phase 1 — Street and Utility Improvements to contract to Glenn Rehbein Companies. The current approved contract amount is $2,616,913.85. Payment No. 10 (Final) is in the amount of $145,593.14, which gives a total project cost of $2,562,344.41. This is $54,569.44 below the contract amount. The contractor has satisfactorily completed all work and has provided all necessary documentation. A copy of the final Payment No. 10 is attached. RECOMMENDATION Staff is recommending the adoption of Resolution No. 08 -111, Approving Change Payment No. 10 (Final) in the amount of $145,593.14. ATTACHMENTS 1. Resolution No. 08 -111 2.
